This page was created in order to share ideas with teachers in the field of foreign language education. Later, I created a page devoted only to second language education: WORLD LANGUAGES AND ESOL. |
I have maintained the page related to my interests and professional
career in this important field. These ideas are the product
of many years of language teaching, observations of teachers, workshops
witnessed and conducted, etc. I coordinated the program for foreign
language education here at UCF, a program that I designed, until 1999.
The program coordinator, now, is
Dr. Karen Verkler
There are interesting ideas and materials for language
teachers on the page. In the future, I will concentrate on the
examination of research on the brain and memory functioning in order to
develop insights about language acquisition and suggest modifications in
teaching techniques for second languages based on this study.

Language Education page.
