Foreign Language Education

This page will mirror features of the foreign language education page
that I have maintained in order to share ideas with teachers in the field.
These ideas are the product of many years of language teaching,
observations of teachers and student teachers, of workshops conducted
and witnessed, etc. There are interesting ideas and materials for
language educators to peruse.      See links below.
Until recently, I maintained this page for the Foreign Language Education program here at UCF.
On this page, there are materials related to language acquisition and teaching.   Also, there are links to interesting sites on the Internet.

The program coordinator, now, is Dr. Karen Verkler   kverkler@pegasus.cc.ucf.edu

In the future, I will concentrate on the examination of research on the brain
and memory functioning in order to develop insights about language
acquisition and suggest modifications in second language teaching
techniques based on this study.

My home page will contain the links to relevant pages that used to be linked on the "Foreign Language Education at UCF" page.
Most of these are highlighted below.
